boarded the bus and we set off picking up all the others at all the posh hotels!
had a full bus of 54with most being elderly, or families...took a few hrs to drive through to Bath where we were let loose in the roman baths...it was really cool, when i was here before (talking 14yrs ago with my family)they were closed,
everyone was given an audio guide and left to wander through at their own pace... what was cool about it was the fact that it was so similar to the roman baths i'd been at in Budapest..
amazing...
looked around the city for a bit before heading to catch the bus,
learnt that if you're not there at the dedicated time the bus WILL leave without you...
after we left 2 ladies behind, who were not even 5 mins late!
had dinner at this quaint little english pub in laycock where we were able to sneak half way into the abby (used in all of the harry potter films) before getting caught as it was closed and kicked out! ....
points for trying though!
arrived at stonehenge at 7pm, where they were ushering the last of the public out of area... and we were let loose...
now if anyone is heading to check out stonehenge, theres no other way then doing the private inner tour... most people go, and get to walk around the edge.. which is as exciting as it sounds...with this tour on the other hand, we got to jump the fence and actually run around inside and actually touch the stones...
i got very excited... hahaha it was hilarious looking at us all running around taking random pictures, like kids in a candy store!
i have many amusing pictures to show for it too...
after about an hr or so with the sun just setting, we were kicked out and boarded the bus back to London
after arriving back at the hostel around midnight, i pretty much woke everyone in the dorm up by tripping over the support to the roof! (hey it was dark!)
then i tried to pack... but decided i was making too much noise, so just went to bed...
