Pictures from home

Home sweet home

the garden out the front has become completely overgrown due to the rain and the crazy plants my parents planted that seem to grow at the rate of 2m a day!

Home amongst the gum trees...

there's nothing like the smell of a gum leaf freshly crushed between ones fingers... (that also goes for those lemon scented bushes)

Picnicing at the River

i used to pretty much live here all the time, whether it be walking around it, lunch dates from work where we escaped and pretended we didn't have to go back, family picnics at easter, etc.

My Car..

Definitely has been a life saver since i've been back, there's nothing like being able to jump in the car and just go for a drive where ever the whim takes you, and not having to wait for a bus to come... not that they ever come around my area...

Ants in my car...

i got out at the supermarket today and found a swarm of ants in the door... thankfully no massive spiders have been seen hiding under windshields... first thing i checked!

Part of the overgrown garden

I love this tree..
it's one of the stringy bark ones that you can just lay under for hours and watch the wildlife playing around in the branches..

View of the river from my bedroom window... sure beats looking out onto concrete walls

The Bird Cage

this is one of the things that seems to have sprung up out the back, just cause it looks cute... it shall be interesting to see what they do with it

Home from the back (well from the bird cage)

the stairs are in the process of being built and really serve no purpose except to be there... cause it's just as easy to walk up the hill

Out the Back

the view from the back garden

My little munchkin... Millie

I'm missed this little bugger so much,

was sad when i first got home and all i saw was her tail, as she flew out the door in a bid to escape from me!

but all is good now and am once again covered in cat fur, and claw marks,

the marks of antagonising a kitty!
