Island Pictures

So I promised you all some pictures..

Last weekend we set off on a road trip through the Isle of man, making the most of the fantastic summer like weather.

and as we all know pictures speak louder than words so enjoy..

Overlooking Peel castle and harbour

Peel Beach, where we sampled some delicious Isle of Man Icecream mmmmm

Niarbyl coast

Quaint little cottage at Niarbyl

Views from the coastal pathway

Bales of hay and the sea, not a sight you see everyday

The famous Loughton sheep, unique to the Isle of man. You can't really tell, but they have four horns!

One of the many ancient celtic crosses we came across

The Point of Ayr, the northern most point of the Island.

If you look closely you can see Scotland in the distance

This was a bizarre junk shop, that just happened to be open at 9pm when we were passing through. It was full of some very strange things!

Finished the night with a hike up Snaefell.

The highest point on the Isle of Man

Perfect end to a perfect day

I think you're having us on -- in both this post and the next there's a shot of water where supposedly you can see land in the distance. I don't believe you really can :p

you totally can see land... it's just above the water... i think you need glasses!
