i know

i know i promised you a propper update about my exciting weekend... but haven't quite got around to writting it...

pictures are up over on flickr if you want to take a look, story is to come...

i got a phone call today from my agency over here, offering me a job down in plymouth (bottom of the uk... seaside town, with lots of sailors i've been told...)

my job up here i scotland is meant to be finishing up in a few weeks... scary to think that i've been here almost 3 months... bo does time fly past... i should really have a chat to the boss about when the exact finishing date actually is...

as much as i complain about where i am... this place is groing on me, crazy work, and flat mates alike...

the boss never will... but you get that!

in some ways i love this wandering lifestyle i've got going for me at the moment, heading off where ever an interesting job arises, not having anything to hold me back... it's total freedom...
but in other ways.... the constant picking up and starting all over again...

doing this whole working holiday has been good, i've put myself in so many uncomfortable situations. constantly testing myself.. and yeah some times it's been really hard and i've thought why am i doing this???

but i think i'm becoming a stronger person for it...

though some of you might not believe it... i hate meeting new people, and being thrown into that whole awkward situation...
where first impressions make or break it..
though i seem to always be happy to talk to strangers... and i mean really strange!

this whole holiday has been amazing so far, i've been meeting some fantastic people... it's strange to think that in 2 short weeks you can make a friend for life...
people that i'll keep in contact for awhile, if not forever...

when you're on your own, you've got no choice but to get out there and meet people... otherwise you just get stuck...

which i have been in scotland...

it's better no that T has come back to glasgow... atleast i can go hang out with her from time to time... all the people i'm workig with are much older, and i've found that there's not much socialising outside of work for them...

but having no friends to just call on... really makes a difference...
its no fun heading out for a drink or two by yourself...

it really got me this weekend, actually having some people to hang around with, and just having an amazing time...

i think i smiled the entire weekend...

and when they both left on monday, it was kind of like a deflating balloon... and i didn't know what to do with myself...

so the decission is i need to get out more!!!!!

and try see as much as scotland as i can, and meet as many new people as possible...
