5 nights left

well this time next week i'll be knee deep in the cultural history of germany, possibly in Berlin that's if we've managed to sucessfully navigate ourselves over there on the train... but could be anywhere!

and i'm still no closer to having packed anything in the flat...

truth be told i have done absolutely nothing in the way of packing yet...

can see a few sleepless nights coming my way.. or as per usual throwing it all in at the last minute..

weather has been miserable here all weekend, and pretty much spent the weekend indoors where it's warm.. with the occasional adventure outside to get something...

i did get excited today as i went looking for either an inner sheet or sleeping bag, as a few of the places we're staying is bring your own sheets... so after learning from my last encounter i went and bought myself a sleeping bag today...
and more importantly now i can say i've bought something from ARGO's... hahah i love it..
Argo's is this shop that you look at a huge catologue and can buy anything from a watch- tent- backyard furniture-bed-toys... tv's... ypu name it they sell it.., you just find the item number next to it, write it down, go pay, and then there you go... they bring you out you item!
it's great and so cheap too..
got my sleeping bag for 14 pounds... it rolls up to be 14cmx25, and it's really light too... thinking it won't be useful in the dead of winter, but might be good for summer!

had a test run of getting it back in it's bag after taking it out... and i can say that after getting it out i did manage to get it back into it's packet... (well with a fair amount of help from the boy, and lots of laughs, and a few choice swear words..) so i'm thinking i'm going to need to practice it... or just happily leave it all rolled up in it's packet hahaha that or take the boy with me...

Flatmates are all back and accounted for (well claire's gone home for the weekend) sounds as if she had an amazing time over in south america... brought me back this lovely little container from brazil made out of this gorgeous coloured maple... and a shawl made from the fur of a baby llama.. (it's so soft)

we're having a night out sometime this week, as a big celebration... end of exams, and end of an era!

so i'm thinking this week is going to become somewhat of a boozey affair... what with the flatmates, workmates, etc... it'll be tons of fun!

and in between i have to find time to pack...

also contemplating getting my hair cut... it's got to the stage where it's a bit too long for my liking..
shall i be brave and get it cut really short!?! :O)

hahaha i should mention that in a fit of trying to use up the pasta that's i the cupboard, decided to cook some last night, and ended up burning the lot...

the poor pot is never going to be the same again...
