it's almost over! yippee!

it's when you're about to leave that everything starts to go good!

after arriving at work rather late this morning... a couple of missed buses and such.. oopsies..

i find out that stalker porter (who kind of freaked me out, and i tried not to be left alone with) got fired last week for pretty much feeling up a married nurse who was escorting and unconscious patient back to the ward (cornered her in the lift of all places)
i know how much he freaked me out... he was constantly just appearing where i was... and i'm sure the whole idea of personal space was lost on him... he was just scary... so i'm glad he's gone...
but it makes you wonder how people can think it's right to act like this at all..

had an extremly busy afternoon... at work... (Yes i actually had to do work for a change!)
we ended up xraying over 50 people... (between two of us...) inluding way to many full body xrays on very unooperative patients.. my favourite ones!

had another patient explode puss everywhere! haha the sound is great, and it's so green and goopy... (sorry!)

then came the fun, there's this patient in ICU at the moment, who doesn't like xrays... so you have to try trick him, so that you can get the picture...
anyways today he almost jumped out of bed at me in oder to get away.... it's bizarre how quick peoples reflexes can be... gave me a fright though.. almost lost an eye..

managed to break both xray machines! yay for me... going out in style here!

but got the up and kind of working at the end... shame...

had some great patients as well..
i'm always amused with how patients put on gowns...
is it that hard to follow the simple directions of put the gown on opening up at the back...
the amount of patients i had today that decided it was free for all viewing day, and proceeded to remove all clothing in the nether regions, then proceed to lie on the table, gown open at the front..
there are some things an innocent girl shouldnt have to see!
people can be so daft...

oh and i used minging in a sentance today... hahaha so excited!

though i'm still all for removing shirts on good looking guys when they need a foot xray etc... cause you know a shirt will get in the way of course!

anyways tomorrows my last day work for awhile.. excited and sad at the same time... as much grief as the boss has given me... there are some people there that i've had so much fun with... who knows maybe i will end up back here in a few weeks...

things with the boy are still good... don't think either of us has wanted to mention the fact that i am leaving on friday, just been enjoying each others company as much as humanly possible... and talking way into the night...

still nowhere closer to packing...

i try i promise! i just find other things more exciting to do.... denial is a good thing...

anyways champers has arrived, and who am i to say no to that!
