ever looked back through past blog entries...

it's what i've been doing for the last hour or so,

trying to move all of my old posts from my original blog-city blog, over to one here...

my god i wrote heaps! i've only transferred from december 2005-decemeber 2006... there's still a year and a half to go!

but it's really interesting reading through not only my posts, but the comments people left...
and remembering the strange things i did! hahaha it's funny reading it, some of the things feel like it was only yesterday!

but it's gotten me thinking about how much i live in the past...

is it good to live in the past?

i cant really look to the future at the moment, as it's very uncertain, i have no idea how long i'll end up staying over here, no real idea of whats around the corner... hey i don't even know what the boss is going to say tomorrow when she finds out i'm going on a holiday and not planning to come back! :O)
so no real plans for when i get back from my travels...
though i was searching for random things to do, and i'm going to go to the portabello road markets on saturday before i fly over to germany, and when i get back, i'm planning on going on a tour to stone henge, at either sunrise or sunset (any suggestions to which one might be better?) where they let you go in the center of the circle, normally ropped off... and possibly a coltsworld tour as well...
i'm just assuming i'm going to be bumming around a bit in the mean time! until a job comes up that is!

was reading some of the suggestions over on brooke's blog about books to read, and when i was out today picked up a few... so yay now i have books to read on my travels (that's if i don't get into them before hand!)

R got back late last night, which is good, strange hearing things around the flat again... but great to have someone to entertain me from time to time...

was chatting online to S last night too and we were organising last minute things for salzburg... anyways i went to reserve seats on one of the trains... and my credit card was suspended... oops.... so now i've got to ring up and see what the problem is... stupid card... lol

tomorrows a public holiday through most of the uk, but for some unknown reason.... i have to go to work.... there's no doctors or nurses there, so technically we cant do any work...
so why do we have to go again!?!
it's a training day for us... (but hang on i'm leaving!)
mmm so i'll go...
here's hoping i get paid lots for going! (one of the other locum agencies said normally you get paid 2.25 if you work a public holiday... so fingers crossed)

we do get a free lunch provided! (as long as its not the sary soggy sandwiches as before!)

and a day of lectures, that really have nothing to do with me!!!!

so who knows how long we'll stay... nothing like getting paid for doing nothing
