Wet miserable Wednesday!

i don't think i should be surprised at all with the weather... woke up this morning with the sun from yesterday well an truely replaced by these wet and freezing cold rain drops the size of your head! (mmm well maybe not that big... but close!)

it's bizarre... T the old flat mate came by last night to pick up the spare keys for the flat, and ended up staying the night...

now i realise it used to be her flat too... but it's not now, and she totally took over...
mmmmm not impressed... but she's not here for long... so i cant be bother complaining...
i forgot how anoying watching tv with a channel surfer can be!
lol

last time she stayed she made so many phone calls from the land line... anyways this time i could hear her trying... and she was trying for like 20mins... lol
before i had to say, ummm by the way you cant make outgoing calls anymore!!! hahaha
secretly chuckling to myself!

i'm evil i tell you...

though it's funny how used to living alone you can get in just a week! having her here felt like someone was in my personal space all the time..! hahaha but it was nice to have someone to chat to.. even over channel surfing... though i missed ugly betty... cause she wanted to watch the news instead.... :O(

work was hilarious today.... i think since i've decided to leave, i really don't care what happens...
i just do my job, amuse myself and have fun! got caught looking at interesting things today.... i've come to like this one particular Dr in the department, he's funny...
totally my sense of humour, and he keeps getting me into interesting situations... (lets just say the boss always turns up at the wrong time...) today he decided i had to look at some jokes... (click on the link if you want a laugh..) totally inappropriate for viewing in the main area of the department... needless to say we had a gathering of about 14 people, all laughing and crowding around... not half obvious we weren't doing work!

mmmm haven't had the pleasure of running into my lovely surgeon for a while now...
it's like he's vanished of the face of the earth... (or he's in hiding...)
thinking stalking might be the way to go there...

had no one to play with at work today, everyone was off sick, but thankfully we didn't have as many patients as yesterday... (yesterday i xrayed 44 people in 4 hrs... it was mayhem... it's like more than we normally do a week! hahaha there were people everywhere!)
but there weren't many there today...


the balloons and bear didn't come from anyone over here... (sorry charmaine... no hot guy over here that you haven't heard about....well none at the moment anyway)
but from J back home... card was a bit cryptic... in that it just said, hugs.... hence took me awhile to work out where it came from...


had an exciting one today, around 4pm... a guy got rushed to the department after being shot in the head, and the bullet was still lodged in his head...

(i say exciting, as i still love my trauma.... and even though i'm working in neuro.... it's not the same as the initial presentation, and the excitment of the unknown...)

the patients fine by the way... and the cop following was mighty fine too! :O)


mmmm so much for my first week getting back to it all...

who tries to get back to it the week of their birthday.... lol
next week will be better....
weigh in shall be interesting tomorrow... guessing i've gained...

of and i forgot to mention...


i ate a passionfruit today.... omg it was like being 10 again, stealing them off the vine by the pool, yum!

lol though everyone was like.... what's that...

seems passionfruits aren't as common over here either!


oh and one of the guys that i used to work with back home... decided to cause a bit of mischief...

i forward on some forwards and he got one of the girls emails at work and has started to email her... hahaha i came up from doing an xray and she's like who's colin...
and i was like why?

Elaine, Alison is SOooo naughty! i tried to teach her howto be a Lady, but you know how it is wif Aussie girls ; geta couple o' beers into them and they become RUDE and Really not the sort of girls that i should introduce my BagPipping exceptionally good lookin' 24 yr old son, WITH hisown clan Kilt, too.you should not associate with that Reprobate!
