oops

i totally missed my bus this morning... not entirely sure how i managed it, considering i was up with the birds at about 6am... and couldn't get back to sleep... and somehow looked at the watch to see the bus had just gone...

shame..

contemplated the staying home, but decided again that it was too good to miss yet again! so i caught the later bus and was only 15mins late...

stepped out the door without my umbrella... will i ever learn, and promptly got wet!...

i swear there's someone up there with a switch just waiting for me to step out without an umbrella...

managed to call home and organise my car insurance which i realised was up today... so thankfully after like 10 phone calls that's sorted, and my car is safe...

yay


had an explosive day today...

at about 10am the boss of the clerical staff called one of the temps in and promptly fired him.... (he's done nothing wrong...)
and then she came out and bragged about it being the first time she's sacked anyone..

then later that day, L one of my bus buddies, the other temp, got into a massive fight with the boss, and quit too...

this boss has issues, she started about the timei did, and there's been nothing but conflict from her side...

E one of the others went into fight for the fact that he was fired for no reason, and got told to keep out of it (in some rather graphic terms...)

what is it with the management here... they're all mad....

add to that..... seems they've cut down on what we can and cant look at on the internet at work... (they'd already taken away email accounts... )

now much to our disgust...

• no longer can we tune in to the local radio station and get some mildly decent tunes for background music...


• no longer can we randomly play on any of the personal pages, ie bebo, facebook, myspace...


• no longer can access Dt K's favourite joke page (though some of the pictures on there were a bit wrong!)


• lol so of course being extremly busy with work today! (NOT) we tested our boundries...

sad to say... there's not much we're allowed too look at...

but i'm sure in the coming days we'll find something we can look at...

but they cant take google earth from us! (insert evil laugh here!)





and we can still access the bbc news website...





check out this snake that tried to eat and alligator.... it's eyes were definitley bigger than it's belly!



been spending a bit of time looking up things to do in the places i'm traveling too... still not sure when i'm geting back... but i've got to have a look round and see if it is possible to get myself back to venice... for some reason i really feel drawn to the place...
but geneva-venice... might be a bit of a hike on the train...

possibly i'll just go too a few swiss towns... and just admire the amazing scenery..

going to go to either st andrews (where prince william went to uni... the town that is!) or one of the lochs on the weekend...
depending on how i pull up after tomorrow night

off to dinner at this new place that's just opened so that'll be good
