- It's taken me 16 months to realise that Squash, is the British version of cordial...
- despite getting into many an argument last week with consultants they asked me if i wanted to stay here longer... they must be desperate or i am just that good!
- this guy came around from nuclear med, with his hand stuck in a green blob... he smelt like the dentist... all minty like... i had to refrain from licking him
- but i did poke the blob of green stuff
- you learn something new every day...
- why cant we play with the minty green stuff..
- i got tipped for my services today as well... i must have been nice for a change... 10 quid too! but being the nice gal that i am i put it into the staff tea money, even though i don't really drink all that much tea
- in the same hour i got tipped, i got yelled at by an irrate patient... he was annoyed that he had to wait so long for a simple xray... needless to say i misplaced his form and he had to wait just that little bit longer... shame really.. obviously the niceness wore off!
- the Dr snowman is still there...
- though it didn't snow again last night...
- it's 8 degrees inside my room right now... the heater has never looked so comfortable
- comatosed patients are really difficult to xray on your own...
- you try putting a boulder on a sheet and trying to manouver a board underneath them on your own.. go on i dare you...
- what is it about saying "hold still" that makes people move...
- we lost a patient today.. literally lost him... he just vanished...
- had to go around and search the department before we left to see if we could find him.. thankfully there were no surprises,
- not sure how i'd go just coming across a random body in a cubical, though i guess it does sometimes happen.
- did i mention i finally met my flatmates; i don't think i ever did...
- one as i thought is asian her name is "sweet" not really but that 's what the other one calls her... seems she doesn't speak much, and keeps to herself... she looks really old for an asian person i have to admitt... i've never seen an old asian before, i cant help but stare
- i feel rude staring but i'm mesmerised.. they never look old...
- she cooks really weird things, i'm scared to use the same pans...
- the other is from newcastle (in the UK) she's loud, and been on nights... so in turn i've been loud back, especially when i know she's sleeping
- i know... i'm mean
- she also seems to leave the toilet unflushed... i'd prefer to be woken up with it flushing then get a nice surprise the next morning...
- i've yet to set off the fire alarms here.. how goods that... it's got to be a record!
- i haven't been paid for 6 weeks... my bank account is starting to look pretty grim..
- agencies LIE.. they LIE people... never believe a word they say....
- i have dots on my shoulders and neck...
- i'm thinking i might have caught chicken pox from a paitent i xrayed...
- hopefully I'm just imagining them, and they'll be gone in the morning..
- i live 3 mins from work, yet i'm still late to work
- I also got locked inside the laundry the other night for 39mins... until someone was kind enough to let me out...
- the door had a key pad to get in, and when i tried to get out, the handle came off in my hands...
- i looked the next day, and someone's removed the whole door
- i guess they got stuck too!
i could probably go on for hours, but it's bedtime..
night

I discovered the squash thing today myself! I don't get it though - squash is a vegetable. Why use that word for a drink (but that begs the question - why do we call it cordial?).
By Asian do you mean Asian, or do you mean Indian? An Asian who shows their age is very rare. They never seem to age!
And ewwww - no flush? That's not on!
i've been thinking they're weird watering down their orange juice... when all along it was cordial...(i reckon we can blame cotties, cause cotties squash doesn't quite have the same ring to it as cotties cordial!)
I'm 99% sure she's asian, china or Philippines... i'm going to try sneak a picture... might be easier said than done...
she's got me stumped...
i was also under the impression that asians never age...
maybe there's something in the water?
